How do I get started?
Book a free 30-minute consultation. We'll look at where the student is right now (grade, target score, application timeline), share a diagnostic plan, and recommend the right program.
Are IvyStrides classes online or in person?
All classes are live online over Zoom — small cohorts or 1-on-1, plus a Bluebook-style practice platform. Recordings are available if a student misses a session.
Do you do college admissions counseling, or only test prep?
Both. Our counseling programs run month by month from the summer before 9th grade to the deposit deadline — course choices, activities and competitions, the school list, essays, and the applications themselves. There are two tracks: Grades 9–10 and Grades 11–12. Essay coaching is included, and test prep plugs into the same plan rather than running beside it.
How is counseling priced?
You pay a fixed annual fee for the plan: the calls, the deliverables, and the judgment behind them. We do not bill by the hour, and a month that needs more of our time costs you nothing extra. Book a free consultation and we will walk you through the fee for the plan that fits your child's grade.
Is the SAT prep aligned to the Digital SAT?
Yes. All SAT instruction and practice tests are built for the current Digital SAT format (adaptive, on Bluebook). 90% of our students gain 200+ points.
Do you prepare students for the Enhanced ACT?
Yes. Our ACT track is aligned to the Enhanced ACT — the format ACT launched online in April 2025 and on paper in September 2025, with school-day testing following in spring 2026. A 125-minute core of English, Math and Reading; science and writing optional; the composite averaged from the three core sections. 90% of our students improve their composite by 4+ points.
Which AP exams do you cover?
Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Physics 1, Physics 2, Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles, Biology, English Language and US History, plus others by request. Each course is calibrated to the upcoming May exam.
